筆者用500個在臺大醫院住院的病人血清,分析共中的總固粒(total solids)及總蛋白(total protein)。血清固粒乃是採用一種不受溫度影響的手提屈光鏡(hand refractometer)測定的,而血清蛋白則用Biuret方法測定。由所得之結果,顯示此二者互相有關連。 其轉換方程式為 血清蛋白=0.62×(血清固粒)+1.7共相關係數(r)為0.79,而預測標準誤差(Standard error of estimate, Syx)為0.39gm%。 利用屈光鏡來測定血清蛋白,是一種簡單、迅速而且準確的方法。而且只需一滴體液即可,因此,在小兒科的臨床應用上,甚有幫助。
On a series of 500 human sera, analyses of total serum solids and total serum protein were made. The total serum solids were measured by means of a temperature compensated hand refractometer and the protein content was determined by the Biuret method. A good correlation between total solids and total protein was obtained. The equation for the estimation of total serum protein concentration from the amount of total serum solids was TP=0.62 (TS)+1.7. The standard error of estimate (Sxy) is 0.39gm% and the correlation coefficienct is 0.79. This method is simple and quick, especially for the said determination of small babies whose body fluid samples are not easy to obtain.
