摘要


取正常新生兒之臍血測其免疫能力,並與健康成人做對照比較。在免疫球蛋白方面,新生兒IgG含量與成人無甚差異,IgM含量則顯著較成人為低,IgA只有少量新生兒可被測出,於34個新生兒中無一人含有可被測出的IgD與IgE。在淋巴細胞變形反應方面,新生兒的自然變形反應和植物凝血素變形反應比成人者高。淋巴毒素的産生,則較成人為低,幾乎只為成人的四分之一。T細胞和B細胞所佔的比例都較成人為低,而無標誌細胞則高。這些現象表示新生兒免疫功能尚未完全成熟。

The immunocapacity of normal newborns was investigated with cord blood. The normal healthy adults served as controls. The IgG level of newborns was similar as that of adults while 1gM was lower than that of adults. Only 5 of 34 newborns revealed detectable IgA which meant the possibility of subclinical intrauterine infection. None of the newborns was with detectable IgD and IgE. Newborns had higher spontaneous transformation and PHA transformation than adults did. However newborn lymphocytes produced only about one-fourth as much lymphotoxin as did adult lymphocytes. The percentages of T cell and B cell were lower in newborns and, therefore, the percentage of null cell was higher in newborns than that in adults. These findings suggest that the immune system of the newborns is still immature.
