Interferon combined ribavirin therapy in chronic hepatitis C was a standard principle except non-responders or relapse's. Stronger Neo-Minophagen C (SNMC) is a potentially anti-inflammatory agent for chronic hepatitis C in Japan. The clinical trial that the serum levels of ALT(alanine aminotransferase) and AST (asparate aminotransferase) were observed for non-responders and relapse's of chronic hepatitis C patients treated by iv SNMC treatment. All thirteen patients included six non-responders, five relapses, and two acute exacerbation administered intravenous 3 amp of SNMC diluted in saline solution 100 cc per day, and slowly infusion for 5 days since Jan.2005 to Jun.2006. Result demonstrated that SNMC decreased the serum ALT levels of chronic hepatitis C.
