本研究闡述家具備料工廠模擬模式建立之過程以及說明構建有效模式所需具備的知識。系統模擬提供我們以模式代替實際系統實驗的能力,允許我們在機器設備實際安裝前得就系統設計徹底端詳,而模擬乃藉計算系統組成要素之相互作用和移動來預測家具備料加工系統之行為,同時藉著評估各機器設備及作業站間之物料流程以及檢視相競需求有限資源之衝突來評估工廠佈置、設備選取及作業程序等。本研究以SIMAN模擬語言完成家具備料加工系統之模擬模式,並藉用模擬軟體為工具,調查備料廠之動態績效,如庫存水準之變化,等候加工隊伍之長短並預測生產率與生產成本等,以為家其經營者提供及時資訊,俾做重要決策之依據。
The simulation model can be used to study, evaluate and demonstration the overall effects of improved management strategies in the wood furniture industry. This paper describes a methodology for process simulation modeling and illustrates the depth and breath of the knowledge needed to create a usable and valid model for rough mill operations. The simulation modeling project described here was a typical (hypothetical) rough mill. Simulation output information included: production rates, operating costs. inventory levels and queue length etc. These information can also be easily graphed to observe the dynamic behavior of the simulation.
