本研究係針對前報所製作之長薄片含浸酚甲醛樹脂定向粒片板予以輕量化,並採取其強度可通過國家標準之最低含浸濃度,期以更符合經濟效應之方式製作長薄片含浸酚甲醛樹脂定向粒片板,並進行物理與機械性質以及游離甲醛釋出量之評估。定向性質方面,定向角度累積至30°內達90.2%;同時超音波傳遞速度會隨定向角度之增大而減低,其角度(θ)與超音波傳遞連度(V)以Hankinson's formula表示時,其n值為1.98~2.18。經輕量化之長薄片含浸酚甲醛樹脂定向粒片板,其性質均可達CNS2215粒片板24-10型之規定標準。游離甲醛釋出量僅為0.29~0.32 PPM。
The main purpose of this study was to manufacture light weight oriented strand board made from PF-resin impregnated flakes. For economical consideration, low resin content was used in this study. The experimental results are summarized as follows: The flake's aligned angle (θ): (the angle between flake length direction and mechanical alignment direction) on the face layer of OSB within 0 -30° accumulated to 90.2% of the total flakes. The ultrasonic velocity (V) at 0° of aligned angle (V_0) was the highest, decreased rapidly with increasing aligned angle(θ). The lowest value of ultrasonic velocity occurred at 90° of aligned angle (V_(90)) and the relationship between θ and V could be represented by Hankinson's formula. The optimal n values for Hankinson's formula were 1.98-2.18 for Japanese cedar OSB. The bending strength, internal bonding and screw holding strength could meetthe standard as specified in CNS 2215 24-10 type of particleboard. The emission of free formaldehyde of OSB was only 0.29-0.32 PPM.
