成核劑對射出成型木粉-聚乳酸複合材強度性質之影響

Effects of Nucleating Agent on Mechanical Properties of Injection Molding Wood Flour-Polylactic Acid Composite

摘要


本研究的目的在於分析添加成核劑對木粉-聚乳酸複合材射出成形加工與力學性質的影響,結果顯示當木粉-聚乳酸複合材中的木粉比例增加時,會降低複合材的熔融指數,而影響其加工操作性。在未添加成核劑的狀況下,木粉含量比例20%的木粉-聚乳酸混煉後,即難以進行射出成形加工了,而在加入了5%的滑石粉作為成核劑後,木粉比例20%的木粉-聚乳酸複合材,可提高其熔融指數,達到一般塑膠射出加工的標準;當成核劑比例大於5%時,雖可提高複合材的熔融指數,但增加的效果有限,因此成核劑比例以5%為適當;木粉-聚乳酸複合材中成核劑的比例增加時,複合材的強度亦會增加,主要由於成核劑可以在聚合過程中改善結晶過程,使聚合物形成微晶結構,因此可以提升複合材的力學性質與耐熱性質。

The main objective of this study was to analyze the effects of nucleating agent on the injection molding and mechanical properties of wood flour-polylactic acid composite (WPC). The experimental results indicated that increasing the proportion of wood content in WPC will decrease its melt flow index, and affect the process of injection molding. The process of injection molding would be difficult when the wood content of WPC is over 20% under no addition of any nucleating agents. After adding 5% of talc as the nucleating agent, the melt flow index of WPC with 20%wood content could be improved to match general plastic injection processing standards; the suitable proportion of nucleating agent in WPC is 5%. The tensile strength and bending strength of WPC increased with increasing the proportion of nucleating agent. Introducing nucleating agents can improve the crystallization process and increase the crystallinity of WPC, which would result in the improved the mechanical properties and heat resistance of WPC.
