Dithiocarbamate pesticides is widely used on fruits in Taiwan. We have conducted survey of its residues on a different fruits produced in Taiwan.
In this study two hundred samples of fruits were purchased from various areas in Taiwan, and analyzed by colorimetry. There're 23 cases (or 11.5% of total samples) found with residues which ranges from N.D. to 2.84 ppm. All of them were found to be under the allowable limits in our country.
