市售天南星藥材之鑑別

摘要

天南星(Arisaematis Rhizoma)為常用中藥之一，根據藥典記載基原為天南星科(Araceae)植物天南星Arisaema erubescens (Wall.) Schott、異葉天南星A. heterophyllum B1.或東北天南星A. amurense Maxim.的乾燥塊莖，具有抗驚厥作用、祛痰、鎮靜鎮痛、抗癌等藥理作用，目前市場基原複雜，除了上述藥典品種外，虎掌南星（掌葉半夏Pinellia pedatisecta）亦在市面流通。為瞭解目前市售天南星之基原，本計劃採逢機取樣方式價購天南星計50件檢體，並採集正品之天南星、異葉天南星及混淆清品虎掌南星Pinellia pedatisecta、由拔A. ringens、半夏Pinellia ternata等五種對照藥材以供比對，經性狀特徵、組織鏡檢、粉末鏡檢及理化鑑別，結果此50件市售天南星藥材，皆非藥典記載品種，取而代之的是虎掌南星，顯示其仍屬於目前市場天南星藥材基原之主流。

Tiannanxing, the dried tuberous stems of Arisaema erubescens (Wall.) Schott (天南星)、Arisaema heterophyllum Blume (異葉天南星) or Arisaema amurense Maxim. (東北天南星), recorded in the pharmacopoeia is called ”Arisaematis Rhizoma”. Its pharmacological activities include sedative, antispasmodic, expectorant and antitumor effects. The species of Tiannanxing were complicated in the market. Besides the above-mentioned origins, ”Huzhang” (虎掌) (tuber of Pinellia pedatisecta Schott.) had been commonly used as alternative. In order to clarify the botanical origins of commercial Tiannanxing in Taiwanese market, we collected five similar appearances of species including A. erubescens (Wall.) Schott, A. heterophyllum Blume, Pinellia pedatisecta, Pinellia ternata, A. ringens as references. We purchased 50 samples from Chinese herbal stores and identified by morphology, anatomy characteristics and chemical identification. The results showed that all of the samples available on the market were Pinellia pedatisecta. Pinellia pedatisecta is still the main supply of the current Taiwan market.
