伽羅木醇型土肉桂(Cinnamomum osmophloeum ct. linalool)葉子含有大量之S-(+)-Linalool,且已被證實具諸多生物活性,極具開發潛力。為了產業化,本研究嘗試建立伽羅木醇型土肉桂葉子精油之超音波輔助萃取法(Ultrasound-assisted extraction, UAE),即探討萃取溶劑、萃取時間及萃取次數等因子對萃取效果之影響。首先以常見之水蒸餾法萃取伽羅木醇型土肉桂葉精油,再以GC-MS分析其化學組成分,結果顯示精油主成分為S-(+)-Linalool,相對含量>95%。比較超音波輔助萃取伽羅木醇型土肉桂葉子各因子萃取精油效果之結果顯示,最適條件為:使用甲醇為溶劑,萃取15min並重覆二次,即可大量萃取出土肉桂葉子中的S-(+)-Linalool。
The leaves of Cinnamomum osmophloeum ct. linalool contain a large amount of S-(+)-linalool and have been proven to have many biological activities with great potential for development. To industrialize the process, this study attempted to establish an ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) method for the essential oils from Cinnamomum osmophloeum ct. linalool leaves. The effects of extraction solvent, extraction time, and extraction frequency on extraction efficiency were investigated. First, the essential oil of the Cinnamomum osmophloeum ct. linalool leaf was extracted by hydrodistillation and then analyzed by GC-MS to determine its chemical composition. The results showed that the main component of the essential oil was S-(+)-linalool with a relative content of over 95%. After comparing the extraction efficiency of various factors using UAE on Cinnamomum osmophloeum ct. linalool leaves, it was determined that the optimized UAE conditions were to use methanol as the solvent, extract for 15 minutes, and repeat the process twice. Under these conditions, a significant amount of S-(+)-linalool was extracted from Cinnamomum osmophloeum ct. linalool leaves.
