以植生復育法移除農地土壤鎘污染

Removed Heavy Cadmium-contaminated Soil in Farmland by Phytoremediation

目前遭污染列管之農地土壤,每年需耗費高昂費用以傳統土壤改良法整治改善,而植生復育法(phytoremediation)是一項對於環境較為友善、不具侵略性、費用較便宜之技術,近年來受到廣泛地重視與利用。為評估與測試平地造林樹種移除土壤鎘(Cd)污染之植生復育潛能,本研究將光臘樹、大葉桃花心木、烏心石、臺灣肖楠、臺灣櫸、無患子、樟樹、印度紫檀、臺灣欒樹、烏桕、毛柿、楓香、黃連木、杜英、楝樹、茄苳、青剛櫟、臺灣相思樹及羅漢松等19種平地常用造林樹種苗木,以彰化縣政府列管之鎘汙染農田作為試驗地苗木栽植於試驗地8個月後,進行土壤及植體之採樣,檢測其土壤及植物體中之鎘濃度,並以生物濃度係數(bioconcentration factor, BCF)、轉移係數(translocation factor, TF)及植體鎘累積量來評估樹種植生復育之效果。結果顯示,以苦楝、烏桕、臺灣櫸及黃連木對改善鎘汙染之效果為佳。

The polluted soil of farmland listed as pollution control sites needs to be remediated and improved using traditional soil improvement methods, which incur high costs every year. Therefore, phytoremediation has emerged as an eco-friendly, non-invasive, and cost-effective technology. In recent decades, it has been widely evaluated and applied. This study aims to assess and test the potential of various afforestation species for phytoremediation to remove cadmium pollution in soil. The experimental field, supervised by Changhua County Government, is a cadmium-polluted farmland. The afforestation species included in the experiment are Fraxinus formosana, Swietenia macropnylla, Michelia compressa, Calocedrus formosana, Zelkova formosana, Sapindus mukorossii, Cinnamomum camphora, Pterocarpus indicus, Koelreuteria formosana, Sapium sebiferum, Diospyros discolor, Liquidambar formosana, Pistacia chinensis, Elaeocarpus sylvestris, Melia azedarach, Bischofia javanica, Cyclobalanopsis glauca, Acacia confuse, and Podocarpus macrophyllus. These afforestation species were planted in the experimental field for eight months, after which we sampled soil and plants to examine the cadmium concentration in both the soil and plant tissues. This study evaluated the phytoremediation effectiveness of the afforestation species using the metal biological absorption coefficient (BCF) and translocation factor (TF). The results revealed that Melia azedarach, Sapium sebiferum, Zelkova serrata and Pistacia chinensis demonstrated better performance in phytoremediation of cadmium pollution.
