利用加馬射線矮化中國水仙之研究

Effect of γ-ray Radiation Treatment on Narcissus tazetta

摘要


中國水仙鱗莖以0、5、10、20及40GY之加馬射線照射,處理時期分為定植前2個月、1個月及0個月。結果顯示在照射劑量來說隨著劑量之提高,對到花日數延長,而花莖長、葉片長、小花梗長、根長及根數都是明顯反比現象,花莖數及小花徑則稍受影響。在處理時期來說,定植前2個月比1個月及0個月反應較敏感,即抑制作用較強。故綜合來說處理劑量以5至10GY較合適,處理時期愈早者,劑量應較低。

Narcissus tazetta, a peranual plant with delicate fragrancy is one of the most popular pot flowers during Chinese new year. Families buy several narcissus bulbs from market to grow by using water culture due to easy sprout. In order to stop cell divisions and obtain optimum stem length, the plant was treated with γ-ray radiation at different rates from 0, 5, 10, 20 to 40 GY at 0, 1 and 2 months before planting. Horticultural characteristics such as flowering date, length of flower stem, length of leaf, length of spike, No. of root and root length was shortened siquifienutly, but No. of flower stem and flower diameter were only sligthly affected.
