本文利用火焰式原子吸收光譜分析法測定學童血清鋅、銅、鐵、鈣及鎂的濃度,並探討都市與鄉村地區學童血清中上述諸元素分佈的差異性。採用高雄及澎湖離島兩地區6~10歲的151位學童血清作為分析樣品。 澎湖離島地區因其社經情況較差,學童血清鋅、鐵、鎂濃度皆較高雄地區為低,具有統計上顯著的差異;而鈣濃度在兩地區皆有較高比率的偏低,但無統計上顯著的差異;銅濃度則在兩地區並無顯著的差異。
Serum zinc, copper, iron, calcium, and magnesium levels were determined in 151 school-age children of Kaohsiung city and of the off-shore Island of Penghu by flame atomic absorption spetrophotometry. The ages of the school children were from 6 to 10. The present study is aimed at investigating the serum minerals and evaluating the serum minerals and evaluating their relative differences due to the socio-economical status of subjects based on the stastical analysis of the data obtained. The concentration of serum zinc, iron and magnesium found in the children of the off-shore Island of Penghu, whose social-economic status is low, were significantly lower than those of Kaohsiung. The serum calcium levels found in both of the two areas however, was lower than literature values. No variations in serum calcium and copper were found between the two areas.
