摘要

本篇指出美國政治語彙有以下的特色：簡單化（simplicity）、單邊思考（unilaterality）、自我中心（self-righteousness）。作者同時併陳布希總統發表的第一次國情咨文，以及卡七世紀一些記載清教徒初抵新英格蘭時，與美國原住民戰爭的文獻，發現美國使用這些政治語彙其來有自。最後，作者點出一些問題，思考這些文本將對韓國學生，或其他亞洲國家學生帶來何種影響、衝擊。
