Respiratory Quotient of Adrenalectomized Rats with Treatment
經治療後去腎上腺大白鼠之呼吸商
摘要
在基礎情況下，测定兩側腎上腺截除後大白鼠之呼吸商。對已往所得之平均體重改變，於此印證。正常鼠之基礎呼吸商爲○•八一而截除腎上腺後三天之呼吸商增高，而四天後又降低，表示在腎上腺功能未完全衰竭前仍有若干碳水化合物供氧化以引起較高之呼吸商。在鹽水治療無腎上腺之鼠群中，呼吸商一直較正常者爲高，最初約係由於碳水化合物仍够供應氧化，而後則因酮酸聚積及鈉離子消失而更高。在可替松治療之乏腎上腺鼠群中，其基礎呼吸商與禁食飢餓之呼吸商相仿。有關各點曾加以討論。

Chinese J.Physiol.,19(4):357-364,1963-1966.-A study of R.Q. was made on bilateral adrenalectomized rats under basal conditions. The changes in mean body weights of a previous observation was confirmed. While the normal rat showed the basal R.Q.(0.81), the adrenalectomized rats gave a R.Q. higher than basal three days after the operation but a lower one after four days, indicating probably that some carbohydrate was still present to give a higher R.Q. before the full adrenal deficiency, effect took place. Inthe saline-treated operated rat, the R.Q. was higher than basal throughout the observation, resulting from available carbohydrate oxidation at first and then from keto acids accumulation and sodium loss. The R.Q. of the cortisone-treated operated rat was of the starvation type. Pertinent points were discussed.
