黑皮旗魚之體長、肥滿度、性比及羣成熟度之初步研究

摘要


1.臺灣海峽之黑皮旗魚在十月至翌年三月間之體型較大,且有魚羣洄游至臺灣近海覓食餌料或產卵之現象,巴士海峽則四至九月間之體型較大。 2.黑皮旗魚之肥滿度以體長190至249公分為最大,但其最小時期則臺灣海峽與巴士海峽所產者不盡相同,臺灣海峽者為250公分以上時最小,巴士海峽所產者則150公分以下時最小,肥滿度最大時之體長相同,而最小時則相異。 3.性比方面由測定結果產於臺灣海峽者雌性多於雄性,且體長較大,而巴士海峽者則雄性多於雌性,並體長較小,且性比與體長具有密切關係,卽體長愈大者雌性所佔之比例亦大。 4.依生殖腺指數判斷其成熟度時,臺灣海峽所產之黑皮旗魚之產卵期為十月至翌年三月之半年間,而巴士海峽所產者其產卵期較早於前者所產,大量產卵之黑皮旗魚其體長須達2.5公尺以上。

1. 1. The catches of blue marlin, Makaira mazara (JORDAN and SNYDER). landed at Kaoshiung and Tong-kang fish market in 1973 were analysed in this study. 2. 2. Blue marlin with size between 120-360 cm (fork length starting from the eyes) were observed. Fish of 180-200 cm were dominant in the Taiwan Strait and 160-180 cm in the Bashi Channel. 3. 3. The coef. of fatness ranges from 9.0 to 19.00 with peaks at between 11 and 13. It differs with size and shows seasonal variation. The coef. is smallest in fish beyond 250 cm, or caught after August and largest in fish of 220-240 cm, or landed in January in the Taiwan Strait. (Table 1). while in the Bashi Channel the fish under 150 cm, or in March has the largest coef. of fatness (Table 2). 4. 4. The sex ratio variates with length classes and area. Those in the Taiwan Strait has slightly more female than male (1.25:1). While a remarkable opposite ratio exist in the Bashi Channel with male/female being 2.5:1. 5. 5. Group maturity were analysed by gonad index. The showing activity of fish in the Taiwan Strart reaches its maximun from January to March and minimun from May to September. Alater activity was noted in the Bashi Channel group, with muximun from February to May and minimun from July to October (Fig. 4).
