烏鯮仔魚喂予生物餌料及微粒包衣飼料時之評估

摘要


豐年蝦的色素濃淡影響牠們被掠食的機會,同時也影響掠食者的成長及存活。由四種食物源:MC,海洋綠藻Chlorella sp.;BY,麵包酵母;AM,紅藻Dunaliella salina粉及CR,合成的β-胡蘿蔔素所組成的十種餌料被用在此研究。餌料含BY及CR其豐年蝦成長最好,顯示出CR或胡蘿蔔素可能扮演某種促進豐年蝦成長的角色,胡蘿蔔素可能扮演一生物性的角色類似α-維生素E因此保護敏感的組織及反應性的化合物不受氧化的傷害。豐年蝦色素濃度並不見得與餌料中胡蘿蔔素含量成比例,卽使餌料中含有胡蘿蔔素,豐年蝦的色澤僅在其有良好的成長時才會有增進的作用。

Artemia's color intensity affects their chance being preyed upon,so doesthe growth and survival of the predators.Ten diets from four food sources,namely:MC,marine algae;Chlorella sp.;BY,bread yeast;AM,algae,Dunaliellasalina meal and CR,syntheticβ-carotene were used in the study.Diets containing BY and CR had the best growth of the brine shrimp,which demonstratedthe role CR or carotenoids might have in improving the growth of brineshrimp.The color intensities in brine shrimp were not necessarily proportionalto the carotenoid content in diet.Even with the inclusion of carotenoids inthe diet,the brine shrimp reflected its color effectively when it was in goodgrowth condition.
