本試驗的目的是要研究將白蝦(Penaeus vannamei)長期養在密閑式循環過濾系統中,它們的成長與生殖是否會受到抑制,以評估利用密閉式循環過濾系統培育白蝦種蝦的可行性。在密閉式循環過濾系統中經過11個月的培育後,第11期的後期幼虫成長為平均體重33.9公克的雌蝦與26.5公克的雄蝦,活存率為29.6%。所有雄蝦皆已具有精筴。將所有的雌蝦切除一支眼柄,以促進卵巢的成熟。眼柄切除後第10天開始有雌蝦產卵,前後11天共有43.9%的雌蝦第一次產卵。交配成功率為38.9%。平均每次產卵量為119,000粒,最少為53,000粒,最多為163,000粒。平均孵化率為71.0%。試驗結果顯示在密閉式循環過濾系統培育白蝦種蝦的可行性是很高的。
The purpose of current report is to study whether growth and reproduction of Penaeusvannamei will be inhibited being cultured in the closed recirculating system for long time toestimate the feasibility of culturing breeders of the animals in closed system.Juvenile PL11Penaeus vannamei had been cultured for 11 months in the closed recirculating system,andgrew to a average weight 33.9 and 26.5 g of female and male individually.The survivalrate was 29.6%.All the males had presented spermatophores.All the females wereablated eyestalk to induce maturation.The shortest latency period between eyestalk ablationand spawning was 10 days.During 11 days,18 newspawners were obtained.Percentageof successful mating spawners was 38.9%.Eggs per spawn was 119,000 on averageand ranged from 53,000 to 163,000.Mean hatching rate was 71.0%.The results showedit was possible to produce the breeders in a closed system.
