In this research, "The Book of Lost Butterflies" and "The Dao of Butterflies" are employed as the observation objects to explore Mingyi Wu's "nature writing" narrative strategy. Mingyi Wu have been working in the fields of ecology and nature writing for a long time. He is not only a well-known author, but also a university professor with considerable academic authority and the characteristics of an "opinion leader." The research found that both books have the same narrative thread, with "nature and butterflies" as the theme, "popular science and metaphor" as the technique, and "grand narrative" as the strategy, leading readers to visit and trace the story of butterflies, and also taking into account the narration of author's humanistic perspective. When addressing the issues of popular science and the humanities, Mingyi Wu employed unique insight, rhetoric, and persuasive elaboration to lead readers into the Peach Blossom Land with fluttering butterflies.
