不銹鋼冶煉過程中煙塵產生量約為鋼產量的2%,依製程可分為電爐煙塵及轉爐煙塵,發生量各佔一半。目前國內不銹鋼產能達130萬噸,估計將有2.6萬噸以上的不銹鋼煙塵產生。其中電爐煙塵所含鉛、鋅量較高,TCLP溶出結果顯示鉛、鎘過量,而轉爐煙塵則會溶出過量的鉻,被環保署表列為有害事業廢棄物。因此本研究嘗試利用鐵氧磁體包覆法對其進行安定化,以降低鉛、鎘、鉻之溶出,使成為一般事業廢棄物。研究結果顯示,添加硫酸亞鐵,於50°C溫度下進行鐵氧磁體的包覆反應三次,可將不銹鋼電爐煙塵及轉爐煙塵安定化,同時安定化後液體可迴流使用,而安定化所增加之重量以及體積並不超過10%,較目前之安定化處理方法為佳。
According to the steel-making process, the dust from stainless steel-making are defined as electro arc-furnace steel-making dusts (EAF dusts) and converter steelmaking dusts. It is estimated that the dust from stainless steel-making will be produced over 260,000 tons annually, provided that the product ion of stainless steel reaches the demand of 1,300,000 tons of domestic consumption. The EAF dusts contain more Pb and Zn than converter steelmaking dusts. Based on the results of TCLP test, the EAF dusts give soluble Pb and Cd over the concentration limits of EAP standard of hazardous waste; while the converter steel-making dusts give soluble Cr. In this study utilizes the ferrite coating method is utilifized to stabilize the dusts while reducing the dissolution of Cr, Pb and Cd from dusts. The results of study show that it not only can achieve the stablization of EAF dusts and coat dusts when they are added with ferrous sulfate at 50°C, but also the residual liquid from the ferrite coating process can be reused. As a result, the increased weight and volume of dusts occurred in stabilization is under 10% which is better than the current method.
