臺灣東部與中部地區之地化初勘

GEOCHEMICAL RECONNAISSANCE SURVEY IN EASTERN AND CENTRAL TAIWAN

摘要


本文主要研究項目包括(1)不同探勘方法之有效性,(2)數據之處理方法,(3)元素間之伴生關係,及(4)不同的沈積物樣品對地化探勘之意義。由此次初勘發現了兩個重金屬異常帶。一個在東澳附近,另一個在中橫公路青山附近。

One of the main goals of this investigation is to find out the best sampling material for drainage survey in Taiwan. It was found that the magnetic fraction of detrital heavy minerals was the best sample medium which gave the best contrast, a wider range, and distinct anomaly. From this investigation, several anomalous areas of base metal were delineated, and it was also found that copper was a good pathfinder for other base metals. Computerized statistical procedures for data reduction were also given in this paper.
