甘蔗渣爲紙漿工場之副産物,蔗渣髓更是不能利用之廢物,添加2%氯化鉀,2.5%過磷酸鈣,3%炭酸鈣,10%有機肥料(花生粕、紅花子粕或豬糞),及蔗渣髓重量三倍之1.66%糖蜜稀釋液充份混合,不經堆積醱酵,可直接進床後醱酵栽培洋菇,單位面積産量與普通之稻草堆肥相似,但製造成本僅爲稻草堆肥之1/5或1/10。
About 60-70% of mushroom cultivation cost in Taiwan is due to compost. However, we have found that the cost of mushroom may be lowered by using a poor material as a substitute of rice straw and by mechanization. Previous report of the author has stated that bagasse pith is quite suitable for this purpose. Results of further studies of bagasse pith compost are presented in this paper. Bagasse pith was mixed with 2% potassium chloride, 2, 5 % superphosphate, 3% calcium carbonate and 10% organic manure (one of defatted peanut meal, defatted safflower meal or dried pig clung) by weight and then moistened with 166% molasses solution. The mixture was put on the cultivation bed and immediately directed through peak heating. Mushroom yields of the bagasse pith compost are the same as that of the rice straw compost, but comparatively the former compost costs only 1/5 to 1/10 of the latter.
