Electron paramagnetic resonance of CrO4^(3-) centers in single crystals of potassium, ammonium, and sodium alums at room temperature and at low temperatures has been exactly analyzed. The magnetic symmetry of these centers is orthorhombic, but the departure from axial symmetry is slight. The spatial symmetry relations among the magnetically inequivalent sites can be analyzed by the Laue group of the cubic lattice.
