本研究針對陽明山地區小觀音山及花蓮太巴塱地區包籜矢竹之生長、生物量及竹筍生產進行調查分析。小觀音山山麓(海拔高200m)包籜矢竹林分密度爲43.7±22.2株m^(-2),新生竹9.3±8.6株m^(-2)(林分密度之16.6%),枯死竹密度17.7±10.1株m^(-2)(林分密度之32.2%),基徑平均0.9±0.2cm,稈高平均2.6±0.6m,地上部生物量乾重49.5±28.7ton ha^(-1),地下部生物量乾重22.4±8.4ton ha^(-1);小觀音山中腹(海拔高600m)包籜矢竹林分密度爲21.3±6.7株m^(-2),新生竹1.0±1.0株m^(-2)(林分密度之5.8%),枯竹密度5.0±0.0株m^(-2)(林分密度之19.7%),基徑平均0.8±0.2cm,稈高平均2.3±0.6m,地上部生物量17.1±7.1ton ha^(-1),地下部生物量9.2±2.4ton ha^(-1);太巴塱地區包籜矢竹林分密度32.5±7.0株m^(-2),新生竹1.0±1.5株m^(-2)(林分密度之3.1%),枯死竹密度1.7±2.0株m^(-2)(林分密度之3.5%),基徑平均1.3±0.3cm,稈高介於2.2~6.3m、平均4.6±0.3m,地上部生物量乾重介於66.3~100.0ton ha^(-1)、平均78.2±12.9ton ha^(-1),地下部生物量乾重平均48.2±11.2ton ha^(-1)。陽明山地區小觀音山北側山麓產筍期可分春秋兩季,春季產筍期農曆2月20日~3月10日間陸續開始發筍,之後持續至4月底左右;秋季之產筍期則爲農曆9月中旬白露節氣之前後;太巴塱地區產筍期大約於清明節前一個月間陸續開始發筍,持續至清明節前後,每年可約生產24萬公斤的箭竹筍。
This study was to investigate how the different elevation zone and habitat affect the growth, biomass and bamboo shoot production of Pseudosasa usawai bamboos at Yangmingshan and Hualien. The plots of Yangmingshan were distributed at two elevations which were the piedmont and the mid-slope of a mount. In the mount of the plot, the bamboo density in the piedmont was 43.7±22.2 culms m^(-2). The new bamboos was 9.3±8.6 culms m^(-2). The death bamboos was 17.7±10.1 culms m^(-2). The culm at ground diameter was 0.9±0.2 cm. The culm height was 2.6±0.6 m. The biomass above ground was 49.5±28.7 ton ha^(-1) and the biomass below ground was 22.4±8.4 ton ha^(-1). In the mount of the plot, the bamboo density in the midslope of a mount was 21.3±6.7 culms m^(-2). The new bamboos was 1.0±1.0 culms m^(-2). The death bamboos was 5.0±0.0 culms m^(-2). The culm at ground diameter was in 0.8±0.2 cm. The culm height was 2.3 ± 0.6 m. The biomass above ground was 17.1±7.1 ton ha^(-1) and biomass below ground was 9.2±2.4 ton ha^(-1); The bamboo density in the mount of the plot (Hualien), was 32.5±7.0 culms m^(-2). The new bamboos was 1.0±1.5 culms m^(-2). The death bamboos was 1.7±2.0 culms m^(-2). The culm at ground diameter was 1.3±0.3 cm. The culm height was 4.6±0.3 m. The biomass above ground was in 78.2±12.9 ton ha^(-1) and those below ground was in 48.2±11.2 ton ha^(-1). The bamboo shoot production in Yangmingshan had two seasons (i.e., the spring and the autumn) for production, which began from the Chinese calendar of 20 February-10 March, and lasted till April. The autumn production was in the middle ten days of September. The bamboo shoot production in Hualien was about 240,000 kilograms every year, which began from the beginning of Mach to the beginning of April.
