飼糧分別添加不同劑量金銀花、桔梗與黨參、白术科學中藥粉末對土雞生長、屠體性狀及抗體力價之影響

Effects of Diets Supplemented with Different Amounts of Chinese Herbs, Including Lonicera Japonica, Platycodon Grandiflorus, Codonopsis Pilosula, and Atractylodes Macrocephala, on Growth Performance, Carcass Characteristics and Antibody Titers in Native Chickens

摘要


本試驗目的在探討飼糧分別添加不同劑量金銀花、桔梗與黨參、白朮科學中藥粉末對土雞生長性能、抗體力價、血液生化及屠體性狀之影響。本試驗採用畜試土雞台畜肉13號300隻,隨機分配於5個飼糧處理組,分別為(1)對照組(未添加任何抗生素與藥物);(2)1% 銀梗組;(3)2% 銀梗組;(4)1%黨朮組;(5)2%黨朮組,每處理3重複,每重複20隻(公母各半混養)。試驗期間飲水與飼料均採任食,飼養期為16週,收集土雞生長性能、抗體力價、血液生化及屠體性狀。試驗結果顯示,在體增重方面,各處理組間無顯著差異。在傳染性華氏囊炎(Infectious bursal disease, IBD)抗體力價方面,以2%黨朮處理組顯著高於對照組(p <0.05);在屠體性狀方面,公雞屠體率則以2%銀梗組與1%黨朮組顯著低於對照組(p <0.05);在可食性內臟重方面,以2%銀梗組與1%黨朮組顯著高於對照組(p<0.05)。若以生長與屠體性能為添加劑量之考量,16週齡平均體重各處理組均可達到公雞1.7公斤,母雞1.3公斤之上市體重標準,最終0~16週齡飼料轉換率可達4.00以下;若加上存活率與IBD抗體力價為考量,則以2%黨朮處理組添加劑量為最佳。本試驗顯示添加之中藥草對雞隻生長性能並無明顯改善效果,對公雞會降低屠宰率、增加可食性內臟,添加2%黨朮則可顯著提高傳染性華氏囊炎抗體力價。

The purpose of this experiment was to investigate the effects of diets supplemented with different amounts of Chinese herbs, including Lonicera japonica, Platycodon grandiflorus, Codonopsis pilosula, and Atractylodes macrocephala, on growth performance, antibody titers, blood biochemical and carcass characteristics in native chickens. Three hundred day old LRI native chicks, no. 13, were randomly divided into five groups: (1) the control group (without adding any antibiotics or herbs); (2) 1% LP group (Lonicera japonica and Platycodon grandiflorus); (3) 2% LP group; (4) 1% CA group (Codonopsis pilosula and Atractylodes macrocephala); and (5) 2% CA group. Each treatment had three replicates and each replicate had 20 birds, half male and half female. Water and feed were provided ad libitum. The duration of this experiment was 16 weeks. Growth performance, antibody titers, blood characteristics and carcass performance were measured. The results indicated that Chinese herbs did not significantly improve body weight gain of native chickens. The 2% CA group had significantly higher IBD antibody titers than the control group (p <0.05). In carcass performance, the 2% LP group and 1% CA group had significantly lower carcass rations than the control group (p < 0.05). However, the 2% LP group and 1% CA group had significantly higher edible organs than the control group (p <0.05). In regard to growth and carcass performance, average body weight in each group at 16 weeks of age reached the standard market weight, 1.7 kg for males and 1.3 kg for females. The feed conversion ratio from 0 ~ 16 weeks of age was below 4.00. In regards to livability and IBD antibody titers, the 2% CA group had the best results. The experiment indicated that adding Chinese herbs did not significantly improve growth performance. It could decrease carcass and increase edible organ rates in male chickens. However, adding 2% Codonopsis pilosula and Atractylodes macrocephala significantly increased IBD antibody titers (p <0.05).
