營養條件之差異對老鼠壽命及組織Histidinoalanine 量的影響作用

Effect of Nutritional Conditions on the Longevity and Tissue Histidinoalanine Concentration in Rats and Mice

摘要

The control of physiological senescence by diet has been a dream of the human-beings. The study was to investigate the relationships among diet, longevity and tissue histidinoalanine (HA). In the experiments 1 and 2, female Wistar rats were used and divided into 3 groups as fast, protein-free diet and control. The result indicated that the HA concentratinos of aorta in both fast and protein-free diet groups were significantly lower than in control group (p<0.05). But the HA concentrations in skin and bone were not significantly different among three groups. In the experiment 3, about 150 weaning Senescence Accelerated Mice (SAM) were divided into two groups and given 20% casein or soy protein isolate (SPI) diet until death. At the age of the 16th, 24th, 32nd week, 5-7 mice from each group were sacrificed and HA of aorta, skin, kidney were measured. The result showed that the growth and body weight were similar in the two dietary groups. All the mice on casein diet have been alive at the age of 13 months while the survival rates of mice on SPI diet were i00% up to 10 months but 65% at 11 months, 15% at 12 months and 0% at 13 months. The HA concentrations of skin were similar in the two groups. The HA concentrations in kidney were significantly lower in casein diet group than SPI diet group, especially at the 24th week of age (p<0.05). Further research on the older age and more animals are needed for conclusion.
