摘要

電子郵件在人類溝通行為中扮演著越見重要的角色，本文即探討使用此一新興媒介時應注意的事項，以促使有效使用電子郵件。在本文中，作者除了簡略界定網際禮儀之外，還將介紹傳送和回覆電子郵件應注意的規範，同時亦建議讀者善用情緒符號以避免誤解，並使用字句縮寫以提升傳輸效率。作者最後特別期許：吾人應深入地考量地域性特質，以加速促成網際空間本土化社會規範的誕生，俾使更有效益地發揮此一新興溝通媒介的功能。

Electronic mail has been playing a more and more important role in human communication activities. This paper is aimed at exploring critical issues while using this new media. The author first presents the definition of E-Mail Etiquette, then introduces some common rules of sending and receiving e-mails. Skillfully utilizing smilies, intensifiers, and abbreviations are recommended in the cyberspace environment. The paper is wrapped up by expecting to rapidly develop a local e-mail etiquette, in order to bring this new communication media into full play.
