摘要

本報告測定187位接受例行住院體檢者及36位年輕醫師及技術員之血清高密度脂蛋白—膽固醇濃度。此223例，包括119位男性104位女性，均為健康、非肥胖之中國人。我們發現正常男性之血清高密度脂蛋白－膽固醇濃度相當穩定，不隨年齡之增高而改變。正常女性，20～29歲組比40～49歲組、50～59歲組及60～69歲組血清高密度脂蛋白質—膽固醇濃度顯然較高。一般而言，女性之血清高密度脂蛋白─膽固醇濃度比同年齡之男性略高，但此差別僅在20～29歲組具有統計學意義。

Serum high density lipoprotein (HDL)-cholesterol was measured in 187 subjects who were admitted for physical check-up and in another 36 young medical doctors or technicians. These 119 males and 104 females were all healthy and nonobese. It was found that the men had fairly constant value of 20-29 year-old group was higher than those of 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60-69 year-old groups. Women had higher HDL-cholesterol concentration than men. However, the difference was statistically significant only in age 20-29 group.
