Gallbladder cancer is an uncommon neoplasm, acounting for about 1% of all surgically removed gallbladder and associated with a poor prognosis and a late diagnosis. The median survival, from diagnosis is 6 months. the 5-year survival in most series in less thna 5% no matter how it is treated surgically. early carcinoma of the galbladder may be cured by cholecystectomy. The 3-year survival rate is 100%. So it is important of early diagnosis at a stage amenable to surgical excision. We herein, reported a case of 57-year-old man with multiple gallbladder stones and adenocarcinoma in situ arrising in an adenomatous polyp of the gallbladder who underwent simple cholecystectomy and follow-up in good condition for half year. Early carcinoma of the gallbladder in this category is very rare, so clinical and pathologic problems posed by this lesion and discussed with a brief survey of the literature.
