Efficacy of Hydrocolloid Occlusive Dressing in the Management of Pressure Ulcers

摘要

利用親水性膠質覆蓋物封閉式換藥方式（Hydrocolloid Occlusive Dressing）治療燒傷是已經文獻報告的一種治療方式。而使用封閉式換藥方式治療褥瘡，為親水性膠質覆蓋物的另一種新應用。本研究係以臨床選擇第三級及第四級褥瘡傷口使用親水性膠質覆蓋物封閉式換藥方式治療，並每七天評估其傷口深度及傷口大小一次。共有十三個案例加入本研究，有七個案例完成三週的療程。我們可由此發現親水性膠質覆蓋物封閉式換藥方式治療第三級及第四級褥瘡較傳統換藥方式可得較簡單的傷口覆蓋及較好的傷口生長。

Hydrocolloid occlusive dressing is well document on burn wound management. The alternative application of hydrocolloid occlusive dressing is in the management of pressure ulcers. In our study, thirteen cases of stage III and IV pressure ulcers were completed with hydrocolloid occlusive dressing and persisted for three weeks. Seven cases were completed in the whole. According to the data of using hydrocolloid occlusive dressing, we find that the hydrocolloid occlusive dressing can get simpler wound dressing and better wound healing than traditional dressing in the management of stage III and IV pressure sores. The hydrocolloid occlusive dressing is also a good alternative method in the treatment of pressure sores in high risk group.
