Intestinal lymphangiectasia is a rare disease. The primary intestinal lymphangiectasia is idiopathic and associated clinically with malabsorption and excessive protein loss in the digestive tract. The intestinal lymphangiectasia has characteristic endoscopic features, such as white-tipped villi of the intestine. We report two cases of duodenal lymphangiectasia who had no clinical symptom of intestinal malabsorption. We discuss the differential diagnosis of other duodenal lesions from lymphangiectasia, and review the features of endoscopy, pathology, and the different types of intestinal lymphangiectasia.
