A primary job to solve the dilemma of the current Ming research is to explore whether there are some important thoughts of Ming in the pre-Confucius age. Through the analysis in this paper, now we could probably confirm it actually exist an early Ming theory in the trend of rethinking about Ming during the spring and autumn period when the Great Trend of Ming-Bian thinking had not happen yet. This early theory of Ming plays an important role of connecting the past and future in the history of Chinese philosophy. As for the former, it developed two new ideas of Mingfen and Mingsheng through the method of Ming, which in some extent helped to advance the thinking of Li Yue culture to a deeper level. As for the latter, it created a preliminary structure of inner cultivation and exterior action supported by the two ideas of Mingfen and Mingsheng, which provided an option for constructing Confucius' Ming theory and the frame of Confucian philosophy.
