「曰若稽古」的宗教儀式和神聖意蘊

摘要


《尚書》是從口傳文化大傳統過渡到書寫文化小傳統的文化產物。「曰若稽古」的文化現象是口傳文化遺留在書寫文化中的一種文化痕跡,具有豐厚的神聖意蘊和符號編碼。不能簡單地將「曰若稽古」看成是套語或無意義的助詞,也不能將其當成是純文字文本的書寫符號。超越文本中心主義的文字局限,聯繫口傳文化傳統的儀式淵源及神聖語境的社會場域,將「曰若稽古」放置到宗教儀式的口傳活動和神話歷史中,才能有效地闡釋其在書寫文字之外所蘊涵的文化意義。

Shang Shu is the cultural product of the transition from the oral tradition to the written tradition. The cultural phenomenon of "Yue Ruo Ji Gu" is the trace of the written culture which is handed down from the oral culture, which have many sacred implications and symbolic codes. So it is not briefly regarded as the formulaic expression and the meaningless auxiliary word, especially not as the written symbol of the pure text. The cultural significance beyond the characters can be effectively interpreted if we can go beyond the limitation of text-centralism and connect the social field of ritual origin and sacred context of the oral culture, and it is put into the oral activity and mythistory.
