本文旨在闡釋普羅提諾的意志本體論，論證普羅提諾的自由意志觀念指向主體的獨立抉斷活動。本文引入三組希臘文短語（第一組是：autexousio/auto eph heauto/eph hēmin/eleutheron/kousious；第二組是：ethelēsen/autos/anagōgē/sunebē；第三組是：energeia、dunamis和autos/heautos），分析了普羅提諾所謂的ekousiou（意志）和thlēmatos（意願），指出其所賦予ekousiou（意志）和thlēmatos（意願）的本體性、主體性、「無性」和動力性，論證其所謂的太一意志是無前提的非規定性的「自我意志」。本文還指出，在奧古斯丁之先，普羅提諾已經給出了有關自由意志的較為完備的哲學論證。

This essay expounds the will ontology of Plotinus, arguing that his idea of free will points to the free choosing activities of the subject. There are three groups of Greek phrases empolyed here (1. autexousio/auto eph eauto/eph hemin/eleutheron/kousious; 2. hethelesen/autos/anagoge/sunebe; 3. energeia dunamis and autos/eautos) for the analysis of his so-called ekogeiou (will) and thelmatos (wishing), demonstrating their ontology, subjectivity, nothingness and dynamic, arguing that his so-called the One will is unconditional and undetermined self-will. The essay also points out that Plotinus has proposed a relatively perfect philosophical arguments of free will before Augustine.
