Pregnancy induved hypertension (PIH) is common and form one of the great triad that continue to be responsible for a large number of maternal death. Unfortunately, the pathophysiology of PIH remains unsolved despite intensive reserch. The HELLP syndrome in the pre-eclampsic or eclampsic patient is characterized by hemolysis (H), elevated liver enzyme (EL) and low platelet count LP). This case report describes a eclampsic patient complicated with HELLP syndeome.
