Enuresis, the most common problem of the urogenital system in childhood, causes misery for most afflicted children and their families. The definite cause of enuresis is considered to be either functional or organic. Primary enuresis is often harmless to children and can be cured or controlled with either pharmacotherapy or behavioral modification therapy. A complex urinary anomaly is a rare cause of primary enuresis Herein, we report a rare patient with a complex urinary anomaly that had primary diurnal enuresis accompanied by an asymptomatic urinary tract infection Although uncommon, the possibility of a urinary tract anomaly should still be considered in patients with primary enuresis to prevent the development of chronic renal insufficiency.
