放射線劑量和治療時隔對小鼠乳癌控制率的關係

The Relationship of Radiation Dose, Treatment Interval and Tumor Controllability in Mammary Carcinoma of C3H Mice

以純種C3H小鼠右後腿皮下移植乳癌,俟腫瘤生長至10±1mm時,按每天60鈷伽馬線治療1次(1F)、2次(2F)和3次(3F)而分成3大組,每組復按放射線總劑量分為7小組,其中D。小組是對照組,不予放射線治療,其餘所有小鼠將總劑量平均分配分10次照射後腿的腫瘤,然後觀察小鼠至死亡或治療後120天為止。由實驗的結果得知,放射線治療總劑量越高,則腫瘤控制率越高,小鼠壽命超過120天的比例也增加,高劑量治療後腫瘤復發則較遲出現。復發腫瘤生長的速度大都較對照組慢,但生長速度越快,則小鼠餘命越短。不過放射線劑量相同,每天治療的次數並未明顯地影響腫瘤控制率,僅輕徵地影響小鼠生存天數或半數腫瘤控制劑量。C3H小鼠乳癌對放射線並不敏感,分10次治療1F、2F、和3F三組120天內半數腫瘤控制劑量分別是9,500, 9,730和9,030雷得。

Mammary carcinoma was transplanted to the right hind leg subcutaneously in C3H mice. When the tumor reached 10±1mm, mice were devided into 1F, 2F and 3F three groups to receive 1 fraction, 2 fractions and 3 fractions of 60Co radiotherapy per day respectively.. Mice were further devided into 7 subgroups according to the total dose of radiation. Do means control subgroup receiving no radiation. The tumors of all other subgroup mice received 10 equal-dose fractions of radiotherapy. Tumor controllability and tumor size were scored frequently until the animal died or 120 days after radiotherapy. The result demonstrated that higher dose yielded a better tumor control rate and long-term suvival rate. In addition, recurrent tumors appearred later following high dose treatment. It was noted that the higher the recurrent tumor growth rate, the shorter was the residual life. Short interval between fractions did not change the tumor control rate but slightly improved the survival rate and TCD(subscript 50(120)) C3H mouse mammary carcinoma was a highly radioresistant tumor, the TCD(subscript 50(120)) of 1F, 2Fand3F were 9,500, 9,730 and 9,030 rads respectively.
