CARCINOMA OF THE URACHUS: THE ROLE OF THE COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY

摘要

Three cases of urachal carcinoma are reported with special reference to the preoperative capability of computed tomography (CT) to establish the tumor origin in 2 patients. A midline anterior abdominal mass relating to the dome of the urinary bladder on CT together with a history of hematuria is suggestive of the diagnosis. The post-operative manifestation on CT is also described.

台大醫院發現三例臍尿管癌病例，其中兩例在手術前作電腦斷層掃描獲得正確診斷：一例爲前腹壁囊狀腫塊，經電腦斷層矢狀切面後，更清晰地看到其源自肚臍延伸至膀胱頂，故矢狀切面係診斷此病灶要素，卻未見文獻提及。另外一例爲較小的臍尿管癌，3×3公分大小，含鈣化點管狀腫塊自膀胱前頂端向前腹壁延伸；是文獻裡最小的臍尿管癌在電腦斷層的表現。
