The study conducted a questionnaire survey among those who are in the textile and garments industries as well as the average consumers. Research methods such as descriptive statistics analysis and factor analysis, and the t-test to analyze the data received. Study results show that: The demands of the respondents on the four types of cloth mentioned above, in terms of texture or perceived needs are: for cotton, it must be ”comfortable,” ”healthy,” ”light,” ”economical,” and ”soft;” for linen, it must be ”healthy” and ”upright;” for wool, it must be ”comfortable,” ”healthy, ” ”elegant,” ”sophisticated,” ”warm," ”luxurious,” ”upright, ” and ”fashionable;” and for silk, it must be ”comfortable,” ”healthy,” ”elegant,” ”sophisticated,” ”soft,” ”silky,” ”sexy,” and ”pleasing to the eye.”
