This research is based on the use of waterborne polyurethane to synthesize waterborne polymer dye resins that can be formulated into digital inkjet inks. The inkjet printing exhibited uniform dyeing and sharpness of patterns on different fabrics, meeting industry standards. The ink has a colorfastness rating of 4-5 for laundering, 3-4 for crocking, and 3-4 for lightfastness , while maintaining air permeability and a tactile sensation. its tinting strength is comparable to available pigment inks and international benchmark pigment inks. Moreover, when applied to elastic fabric samples, it doesn't produce any white areas when stretched. This inkjet ink doesn't require pre-treatment, and the post-processing step simply requires setting the temperature to 150℃ for 3 minutes. It could, which can effectively shorten the inkjet processing process, while achieving the quality of traditional products, in line with the trend of sustainable energy conservation and environmental protection.
