摘要


本文提出 Embedded Gate Array SoC 之產品開發概念,應用 Embedded Gate Array 創新的設計流程,可以極低的價格量產 lC。此 SOC 具備組合式的處理機設計架構,以及整合性的開發環境,可依據應用產品的需求,快速組合出合適的單晶片核心架構。在架構上,系統單晶片由 Standard Cell 及 Embedded Gate Array 兩部分所組成。在 StandardCell 部分,包含 32 bits Micro ProceSSor、 Memory Controller 及 UART Controller 等部分。此部分應用 Standard Cell 的設計流程,有較高的執行頻率及較高的 Gates 使用率。在 Embedded Gate Array 部分,以客製化的介面,提供產品設計之彈‘ l 生。於 IC 量產時,僅有 Embedded Gate Array部分的光罩需要重新製作,因此具有快速量產及成本低廉之優點。
