摘要

傳統Layer2網路裡，生成樹(Spanning Tree Protocol; STP)被應用在解決迴圈的問題，但該協定所決定Node之間的傳輸路徑有時可能不是最短的，因此，橋接路由器協定(RBridge Profocol)就被提出。本篇我們主要針對RBridge做一個說明，以淺顯易懂的方式讓使用者對於該技術有初步的了解，最後介紹RBridge概念應用在Wi-Fi Mesh網路的研發成果。

In the traditional Layer 2 network, Spanning Tree Protocol was proposed to solve the looping problem but the routing path calculated by Spanning Tree Protocol may not be the shortest path. For this reason, RBridge Protocol was proposed. The article presents RBridge concept and technology, followed by describing the system architecture of the RBridge-based Wi-Fi Mesh network in detail.
