摘要
在本論文中，我們將討論關於Open Mobile Alliance(OMA)開放行動通訊聯盟的相關資訊並以Device Management(DM)裝置管理為例來做深入的技術探討。OMA組織成立於2002年6月，其聯盟成立的成員大多來至於全球行動裝置各領域的領導廠商，例如行動通訊業者(mobile operator)、網路設備製造商(device and network supplier)、資訊科技廠商(information technology company)，或是內容及服務提供商(content and service providers)。OMA組織一向在各國家與廠商間扮演著主導互通性規格的設計角色，使得OMA的會員廠商或是符合OMA標準的行動設備廠，能在產品資訊良好的互相溝通及交換下，進而相輔拓展行動市場。而Device Management是在OMA提出規格中的一環，本論文研究介紹OMA DM Protocol的訊息交換設計與實作的DM通訊協定。我們開發出符合OMA DM規格的客戶端模組(DM Client Module)和DM伺服器(DM Server)，並可以佈署在市面上各種不同的主流行動裝置平台或與之進行互動。

Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) is considered to be a center of creation of mobile service interoperation works. OMA was formed in June 2002 by nearly 200 companies representing the world's leading corporations of various fields of mobile industries, including mobile operators, device and network suppliers, information technology companies, and content and service providers. OMA has drawn over 20 mobile service enablers that fitting to industry needs but also held over 22 Interoperability Test (IOT) Test Fests for corporations who obey OMA interoperable specifications to test their devices each other. OMA Device Management (DM) is the international de facto standard for mobile device management. In this paper we present a technical introduction of OMA DM protocol and also present our implementations based on OMA DM, including DM Client Module and Management Server. Result of the implementations shows Client Module can be deployed on most of different mainstream mobile device operating systems and Management Server can negotiate with and configure most of mainstream mobile devices.
