相容於ONVIF標準之移動式IP攝影機位置回報機制

Location Reporting Mechanisms for the Mobile IP Cameras Compatible to the ONVIF Standard

摘要


ONVIF標準是目前一種主流的IP攝影機標準。在ONVIF 1.0標準中,制訂了網路視訊傳輸器(Network Video Transmitter; NVT,如IP攝影機)與網路視訊客戶端(Network Video Client; NVC,如後端視訊監控軟體)間的網路通訊協定標準。在ONVIF 2.0標準草案中,則制訂了前述的NVT、NVC與網路視訊儲存器(Network Video Storage; NVS)三者間的通訊協定標準。但ONVIF 1.0及ONVIF 2.0標準在設計時,並沒有考慮到對移動式IP攝影機的支援。故在本論文中,我們將提出如何擴充ONVIF 1.0及ONVIF 2.0標準草案,以支援移動式IP攝影機位置回報的方法。IP攝影機的位置回報可能發生在IP攝影機連上網路時的初始化階段,也可能發生在IP攝影機進行視訊拍攝時。在此種情況下,IP攝影機的位置將隨著被拍攝的影音串流以in-band的方式回報。

ONVIF is one of the main stream standards for IP cameras. In the ONVIF 1.0 standard, the networking interfaces between NVT (Network Video Transmitter, e.g. IP cameras) and NVC (Network Video Client, e.g. back-end IP surveillance software) are formally defined. Furthermore, in the emerging ONVIF 2.0 standard, the networking interfaces among the above-mentioned NVT, NVC, and a new component-NVS (Network Video Storage) are planned to be standardized. However, for both ONVIF 1.0 and ONVIF 2.0 standards, mobile IP cameras are not explicitly supported. In this paper, we provide a proposal to extend the ONVIF standards in order to support the feature of live location reporting for mobile IP cameras. Location reporting may be happened in the device discovery phase for an IP camera. Besides, location reporting may also be occurred when an IP camera is currently in operation for video capturing. In this case, the location of the IP camera is reported in-band within the captured video stream delivered by RTP.
