Burkitt氏淋巴瘤是一種惡性小非裂B細胞淋巴瘤，分為地方（非洲）型及非地方（美洲）型。此兩型形態組織學上相同，臨床表現則相異。非洲型好發於上下頜，美洲型最常以腹部腫塊表現。美洲型Burkitt氏淋巴瘤發生於頭頸部常為頸部淋巴結腫大，於其他頭頸部位極為少見。Burkitt氏淋巴瘤發生於鼻咽部更為少見。本病例為一名9歲男童，主訴鼻塞及打鼾約2個月，理學檢查見鼻咽部有一巨大灰白色腫塊，延伸到口咽部，頭頸部無淋巴結腫大。電腦斷層檢查見一軟組織密度腫塊於鼻咽部。經手術切除腫瘤後，病理診斷為鼻咽部之Burkitt 氏淋巴瘤。經查閱歐美文獻報告，此乃罕見病例，特提出討論。

Burkitt's lymphoma (BL) is a small, non-cleaved B-cell lymphoma and subclassified into the endemic (African) form or the nonendemic (American) form. African and American BL are his to logically identical, but they differ in many ways. African BL preferentially affects the jaw. American BL most often presents with an abdominal mass. Head and neck manifestations of American BL are less common than African BL, and usually present as cervical lymphadenopathy. Involvement of extranodal head and neck sites in American BL is much less common. We experience a case of 9-year-old boy complaining of severe nasal obstruction and snoring for about two months. Physical examination showed a large gray white mass on the nasopharynx, protruding to the oropharynx, and no cervical lymphadenopathy. The CT scan demonstrated a big soft tissue tumor mass mainly on the nasopharynx region. Transpalatal excision was performed. Pathological diagnosis was Burkitt's lymphoma. The les ion was rare in the review of literatures.
