外耳道的良性腫瘤有骨瘤、耳垢腺瘤、皮脂腺瘤等等，但由構成毛囊成分組織所形成的瘤則少有報告。一名35歲男性，因左耳朵疼痛3天而來就醫。理學檢查時發現左側耳道口除毛囊炎外尚有一直徑約1cm，外表微紅，質硬，中央有小開口的腫瘤。病史顯示約兩年半前，左側耳道口即發現有此一腫瘤。經手術摘除，發現腫瘤有完好的包膜(capsule)，中央包著一些細毛，病理報告為纖維毛囊瘤(fibrofolliculoma)。手術後經3年的追蹤並無復發。

Fibrofolliculoma of the external ear canal is rare and only a few cases have ever been reported. We report here a 35 year old male who visited our clinic complaining of left ear pain for three days. A physical examination revealed a furuncle and a pinkish solid mass near the orifice of external ear canal. The pinkish solid mass was about 1.0 cm in diameter with a central dimple. Reviewing his medical history showed that this tumor of external ear canal has been present for the past two years. A surgical resection wasperformed and the tumor was found to be well encapsulated, with hair at the center of the tumor. Histopathological findings showed a well demarcated nodular lesion in dermis composing of fibrous proliferation around a fairly developed follicular structure, which is indicative of a fibrofolliculoma.
