Penetrating sinonasal injury resulting from bamboo chopsticks is a rare but emergent condition. A 78-year-old woman was transferred to our emergency department after she sustained penetrating injury after a fall. On physical examination, two bamboo chopsticks penetrating into left nostril were noted. A computed tomography scan showed two foreign bodies passing through the left nasal cavity and nasal septum to the right maxillary sinus, accompanied by a fracture of the posterior wall of maxillary sinus. Under general anesthesia, the bamboo chopsticks and their debris were completely removed in an endoscopic procedure. The patient's facial wound healed completely without complications, and she was discharged and followed up for six months. We present this case because of the unusual aspect of penetrating injury by two foreign objects in an elderly diabetic woman.
