The infective agent phase of hypopyon corneal ulcer has been changed since the advent of antibiotics and steroid hormones. The authors hereby present Ⅱ cases of hypopyon corneal ulcer, none of which was due to pneumococcus. The infective agents were identified as following. (The form abridges) It is emphasized that in the use of antibiotics and steroid hormones it is mandatory to prevent occurence of complicating infections by the funguses, viruses (especially herpes simplex virus) and gram negative bacteria.
