直徑8.5 mm硬性隱形眼鏡的臨床應用
Clinical Experience of Size 8.5 mm Hard Contact Lenses.
摘要
以直徑8.5 mm的硬性隱形眼鏡作為臨床裝配的試戴鏡片，共收集127人，247眼，其第一次定期檢查之結果主訴良好者佔74.5%，其餘有症狀者25.5%，以異物感最多、流淚、視力模糊等等次之。 不良之原因中以處方不正確為最多、鏡片不良、鏡片污穢、使用不當等等次之。經過處理後，能良好使用直徑8.5 mm者佔85.5%，其餘有6眼需將直徑放大，26眼需將直徑放小，4眼需改用軟性鏡片。

Clinical application of size 8.5 mm hard contact lenses on 247 eyes is reported. 74.5% had subjectively no complains. The rest of 25.5% which had trouble was treated by new lens replacement, lens modification, or lens handling technique retraining, etc. After management we found that 85.5% can use size 8.5 mm H. C. L. satisfactorily. So we suggest routine use of trial lenses with size of 8.5 mm.
