眼內手術之環狀肌Spaeth氏變法麻醉之經驗
Experience on Spaeth's Modified New Akinesia for Orbicularis Oculi
摘要
本文介紹的一種顏面神經麻痺法是Spaeth氏積10年來之經驗所發展的一種變法。它被認為是所有顏面神經麻痺法中比較完全且無副作用的方法。麻醉藥注射的位置主要在下頷骨分枝的最上面，最接面部位。這個注射部位比傳統O'Brien氏神經阻斷之注射部位較後面、下面。由於顏面神經的麻痺能否完全對眼科手術極為重要，所以這種方法最近已被廣為運用而且是很好的一種方法，本文就是對51眼作Spaeth氏麻醉變法的經驗。

Speath's modified new akinesia was performed on 51 eyes in 50 patients for intraocular surgery of cataract and glaucoma. Five c. c. of Anesthetic agent was injected over the most posterior, most superior palpable aspect of the ramus of the mandible bone then the needle was withdrawn until it lies just below the subcutaneous tissue and then advanced for a distance of approximately 2.5 cm with the tip of needle directed toward a point just superior to the outer canthus. As it was withdrawn the remaining 5 c. c. of anesthetic agent was injected. It was proved to be an easy, safe, reliable method. The akinesia by this method was satisfactory for 51 eyes. No complications were found in our experiment on this method.
