摘要

本文介紹Hess氏圖之檢查方法，並以30位有複視病史之病人作各種檢查，包括眼肌運動、頭部傾斜檢查、複視檢查及Hess氏圖檢查。結果發現Hess氏圖檢查對於麻痺性斜視的診斷上較為精確而且是一種容易操作、闡釋的檢查方法。

Hess chart examination was applied to 30 patients who had history of diplopia. It has the advantage of demonstrating multiple muscle problems, such as (1) primary paretic muscle (2) contracture of ipsilateral antagonist (3) over- action of contralateral synergist and (4) inhibitional palsy of contralateral antagonist. It was also helpful in the choice of surgical procedures, too.
In our studies, Hess chart test revealed to be more reliable than the tests including duction test, head-tilt test and diplopia test.
